Here at the Watershed Agricultural Council, we’re always seeking better ways to do what we do. We want to do the best we can to protect water quality and keep forests as forests. To meet that goal, we’re constantly digging into what we do through a combination of in-house and university research.

In addition to our research work, we also want to demonstrate good woodland management practices on the ground. Through our Model Forest Program, we provide publicly accessible working woodlands where visitors can see timber harvest practices, water quality protection measures, forest farming, wildlife management, and more.
