CREP/CSBI Program Planner

The Watershed Agricultural Council is seeking a CREP/CSBI Program Planner for its Agricultural Program. The Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP)/Catskills Stream Buffer Initiative (CSBI) Program Planner will perform the duties and tasks associated with the outreach, planning and coordination of the CREP/CSBI Pilot Program, as well as provide assistance with Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP) within the New York City watershed. Engineering Specialist

The Watershed Agricultural Council is seeking an Engineering Specialist for its Agricultural Program. The Engineering Specialist will serve as a conservation technician to work cooperatively in the design and implementation of Agricultural Best Management Practices (BMPs) in the Watershed Agricultural Program (WAP) in the West of Hudson Watershed. Seasonal Watershed Forestry Educator – East of Hudson

The Watershed Agricultural Council’s Forestry Program is seeking to hire one seasonal Watershed Forestry Educator for the summer of 2019. The seasonal Watershed Forestry Educator will primarily provide support for educator training programs associated with the WAC Forestry Program’s Urban-Rural Education Initiative. The secondary function of this position will be to provide support for forest landowner outreach and education programs within the NYC Watershed. This is a 10 week position that pays $14.00 per hour. Must have dependable vehicle, insurance and a valid driver’s license. Will be reimbursed for mileage incurred on the job. E.O.E.

Agricultural Program Engineer

The Watershed Agricultural Council is seeking an Engineer for its Agricultural Program. The Engineer will serve as a program engineer to work cooperatively in the design and implementation of Agricultural Best Management Practices (BMPs) in the Watershed Agricultural Program (WAP) in the West of Hudson Watershed. Qualifications and requirements detailed in position description. Salary: approximately $65,000. Excellent benefits package including but not limited to 8% employer contribution to 403(b) pension; health, dental and vision insurance (employer pays 95% of cost of plan); and portable term life insurance policy.
