 Watershed Forester II

The Watershed Agricultural Council  is seeking a Forester II for its Forestry Program. The Watershed Forester II will work with landowners, loggers and foresters to implement the various initiatives offered by the WAC Forestry Program in the Catskill/Delaware watersheds. These initiatives include: the Best Management Practices (BMP) Program, Management Assistance Program (MAP), 480a Incentive Program, Trained Logger Certification and MyWoodlot.com. Research & Evaluation Specialist – Forestry Program

The Watershed Agricultural Council is seeking a Research and Evaluation Specialist for its Forestry Program. The Research and Evaluation Specialist will provide WAC with the expertise necessary to continually improve the various components of the Forestry Program. This position will interpret and consolidate relevant research and transfer that technical information to Forestry Program staff, participants, and the broader environmental conservation community. This position will also continually monitor and evaluate the various components of the Forestry Program with the goal of increasing effectiveness. GIS/Database Assistant

The Watershed Agricultural Council, a non profit organization working to protect the NYC Watershed while supporting farm and forest land uses, is seeking a GIS/Database Assistant. The GIS/Database Assistant will be responsible for managing all programmatic spatial and tabular data of the organization. Qualifications and requirements detailed in position description. Salary: $45,000 maximum. Agricultural Program Engineer

The Watershed Agricultural Council is seeking an Engineer for its Agricultural Program. The Engineer will serve as a program engineer to work cooperatively in the design and implementation of Agricultural Best Management Practices (BMPs) in the Watershed Agricultural Program (WAP) in the West of Hudson Watershed.
