Seasonal Watershed Forestry Educator – East of Hudson

The Watershed Agricultural Council’s Forestry Program is seeking to hire one seasonal Watershed Forestry Educator for the summer of 2019. The seasonal Watershed Forestry Educator will primarily provide support for educator training programs associated with the WAC Forestry Program’s Urban-Rural Education Initiative. The secondary function of this position will be to provide support for forest landowner outreach and education programs within the NYC Watershed. This is a 10 week position that pays $14.00 per hour. Must have dependable vehicle, insurance and a valid driver’s license. Will be reimbursed for mileage incurred on the job. E.O.E.

Watershed Forester – East of Hudson

The Watershed Agricultural Council is seeking an Watershed Forester (East of Hudson) for its Forestry Program. The Watershed Forester will work with landowners, loggers, foresters, municipal officials and school groups to implement the various initiatives offered by the WAC Forestry Program in the in the Croton watershed region. Qualifications and requirements detailed in the position description. Salary: low $60,000s. Agricultural Program Engineer

The Watershed Agricultural Council is seeking an Engineer for its Agricultural Program. The Engineer will serve as a program engineer to work cooperatively in the design and implementation of Agricultural Best Management Practices (BMPs) in the Watershed Agricultural Program (WAP) in the West of Hudson Watershed. Qualifications and requirements detailed in position description. Salary: approximately $65,000. Excellent benefits package including but not limited to 8% employer contribution to 403(b) pension; health, dental and vision insurance (employer pays 95% of cost of plan); and portable term life insurance policy.
