Watershed OASIS
Open Accessible Space Information System
The Watershed OASIS provides information regarding outdoor recreation opportunities and educational facilities in the Catskill/Delaware and Croton watershed regions of New York State. These watersheds provide clean, safe drinking water for residents of New York City and the surrounding communities. This site connects visitors with open, accessible space just outside and within driving distance of this metropolitan area.
Use the Watershed OASIS interactive maps to:
- Find out more about NY State campgrounds
- Locate hiking trails
- Discover hunting and fishing opportunities on publicly owned lands
- Plan a one-day escape or week-long excursion to a Watershed OASIS location
The New York City Watershed OASIS project is a cooperative effort between the Watershed Agricultural Council and the New York City Open and Accessible Space Information System (OASIS) Cooperative. This interactive mapping tool expands upon OASIS NYC which connects City residents with open, accessible space -- parks, recreation areas and ponds -- within the metropolitan area.
