Visit a farm run by NYC school children. See a New York City water supply reservoir. Take a chair ride to a mountain top, and hike through a model forest.

Choose from one of six reservoirs West of the Hudson River or one of thirteen reservoirs East of the Hudson River. A spokesperson from the New York City Department of Environmental Conservation will explain how the water supply is kept safe and clean.

Go to Belleayre Mountain, a winter recreation facility owned by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. Winter activities include skiing, cross-country skiing and snowboarding. In the summer months take the "skyride" to the very top for breathtaking views of the Catskills and the watershed area.

Visit a Model Forest to learn why healthy forests are so important to our environment. A guide will lead your journey throughout the walk with interpretive signs along the way.

This farm is run by school children from New York City. Learn how this farm is using Best Management Practices to protect water quality in the watershed. See where the animals get their water from, how their food is made, and take turns petting the many animals here.
