Easement Stewardship Specialist

The Watershed Agricultural Council seeks an Easement Program Stewardship Specialist to assist in the stewardship of agricultural conservation easements designed to protect agricultural and forestry viability and water quality. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in supporting field; Three years related experience in land conservation or natural resource management; as well as additional requirements further detailed in POSITION DESCRIPTION.
Salary mid $40,000’s.

GIS Coordinator

 

The Watershed Agricultural Council seeks a GIS Coordinator to work in coordination with multi agency, self-directed specialized work teams to provide cartographic and analytical support to all Watershed Agricultural Council (WAC) and Watershed Agricultural Program (WAP) program efforts. The GIS Coordinator is responsible for managing the GIS program, both hardware and software, data inputs, maintaining data bases, providing requested analysis, training of system users and development of custom GIS tools. Qualifications: Master’s degree in GIS; OR Geography, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or related field with specialization and/or certificate in GIS; OR Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of professional GIS experience; OR An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined in A, B above; as well as additional requirements further detailed in POSITION DESCRIPTION.
Salary mid $50,000’s.

Communications Director

The Watershed Agricultural Council is seeking a Communications Director. This position will be responsible for conducting the outreach tasks associated with all WAC programs. Communicating WAC’s progress and successes will require strong written and verbal skills, experience in directing graphic design, print and multimedia, creativity and a high degree of motivation. Qualifications: Associates Degree in related field, Bachelor’s Degree desired; Excellent writing and communication skills; Strong computer skills including graphics and layout; as well as additional requirements further detailed in POSITION DESCRIPTION.
Salary mid to upper $50,000’s commensureate with experience.
