Nutrient Management Soil Sampler/Intern

The Watershed Agricultural Council seeks one Nutrient Management Soil Sampler Intern/Temporary employee to perform various duties as part of the Watershed Agricultural Program (WAP) serving farms within the NYC Watershed. The intern will perform the duties of soil sampling and data collection. This is a 10 week position to start immediately that pays $12.00 per hour. Must have dependable vehicle, insurance and a valid driver’s license. Will be reimbursed for mileage incurred on the job. E.O.E. Deadline August 28, 2017.

Engineering Specialist (Small Farms Program)

The Watershed Agricultural Council is seeking an Engineering Specialist for its Agricultural Program. The Engineering Specialist will serve as a conservation technician to work cooperatively in the design and implementation of Agricultural Best Management Practices (BMPs) in the Watershed Agricultural Program (WAP) in the West of Hudson Watershed. Qualifications and requirements detailed in position description. Salary: approximately $50,000. EOE. Review of applications will begin September 11, 2017.
